A Long Beach home with ties to Avenged Sevenfold drummer Brooks Wackerman is on the market for $2.2 million.
Located in the upscale Park Estates neighborhood, the two-story 3,614-square-foot house, dating to 1951 and updated, features five bedrooms, four bathrooms and an open floor plan.
The house has a traditional colonial aesthetic with a row of gabled dormer windows and a red half-glass entry door that opens to the home’s light-filled interior.
There’s a raised fireplace with a built-in box for wood storage in the family room, which opens to the remodeled eat-in kitchen.
The downstairs master bedroom boasts a remodeled bathroom with a freestanding tub and a walk-in shower. A second master suite occupies the second floor.
Patio areas, a swimming pool and spa, and a two-car garage fill the backyard.
Tim Smith and Andy Dane Carter of Coldwell Banker Realty share the listing.
Wackerman, 44, and his wife, Kelly, bought the house in 2013 for $1.255 million. He hails from a family of drummers. He joined Avenged Sevenfold in 2015 after stints with such bands as Tenacious D, Bad Religion and Suicidal Tendencies.
