Shunning the limelight, Tiffany Trump has largely stayed out of the public eye, taking a back seat while her older siblings hog the headlines. For this reason, she has been referred to as the "forgotten" Trump. But behind the scenes, Donald Trump's fourth child enjoys a lavish party lifestyle that belies her shy and retiring image, complete with all the trappings of extreme wealth and several seriously upscale properties she calls home.
Where did Tiffany Trump grow up?
Trump's second wife, Marla Ann Maples, was married to the former POTUS between 1993 and 1996. Donald Trump's first and only child with Marla, Tiffany was born on 13 October 1993 at St Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was named after the iconic jewellery brand that Donald Trump has always revered. He originally wanted to name his first daughter, Ivanka, 'Tiffany' in its honour. "
Tiffany Trump's first home
A stone's throw away from the hospital where Tiffany was born sits her father's palatial Mar-a-Lago estate, where she would spend part of her formative years.
Donald bought the 118-room Spanish-Moorish-style palace, which was built in the 1920s, for a song in 1985 and spent millions refurbishing the interiors of the sumptuous oceanfront property, including the glorious golden living room.
In 1994, the year after Tiffany was born, Donald Trump reenvisioned this historic estate and national landmark as the ultimate private members club to service the super-rich and famous names of Palm Beach and beyond. The original joining fee was $50,000 per member, which served as a way to prop up his struggling real estate business while allowing him, Marla and Tiffany to continue living on-site in the lap of luxury.
Spread over more than 62,500 square feet, there was more than enough room for the small family, guests and all the luxury amenities you would expect in a 5-star hotel. With the property continuing to serve as a retreat for the Trumps, Donald retained the ornate owner's suite. The master bedroom, decorated in his fave Louis XIV style, is shown here in the 1990s.
During the first few years of her life, Tiffany sojourned together with her parents for lengthy periods at the beachfront estate. Mar-a-Lago must have seemed like a magical place for the pampered child, a huge playground accompanied by a wealth of amenities, with the stunning pools, tennis and croquet courts and mini golf course all on hand for entertainment.
The fun was seemingly non-stop. For her fifth birthday in 1998, Tiffany was treated to a nautical-themed bash in Mar-a-Lago's elegant white and gold ballroom. Dressed as a mermaid, the lucky youngster was spoiled rotten with a cake in the shape of the Titanic, and doubtless enjoyed piles of expensive presents and plenty of awesome activities, including this limbo game.
Sadly, her parents' marriage had broken down by this time and the pair were living apart. They went on to divorce in 1999. While Marla was granted full custody, Tiffany maintained a relationship with her father and continued to enjoy stays at Mar-a-Lago. Here she is at Thanksgiving in 2000 with Eric, Ivana's mother, Ivanka and one of her little Trump cousins.
In fact, Tiffany has been a frequent visitor to Mar-a-Lago over the years. She loves to partake in the annual Easter egg hunt, which takes place at the estate every Easter Sunday. Known as Tiff to her friends and family, she is pictured here at the 2007 event with her stepmom, Melania and her younger half brother, Barron.
Living in the Trump Tower penthouse
While Mar-a-Lago was Tiffany's first home, the bulk of her time up to the age of four was spent in the Big Apple, where she lived with her parents in the ridiculously ostentatious Trump Tower penthouse. Located atop the flashy 58-storey Fifth Avenue tower, the triplex sprawls over 10,996 square feet according to official records obtained by Forbes, though Donald has claimed it's three times bigger.
Tiffany Trump's swish student dorm
In 2011, Tiffany flirted with careers in pop and high fashion, releasing a single called 'Like a Bird' Remaining focused on her studies, Donald's second daughter graduated from Viewpoint in 2012 with flying colours and headed east to her father's alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, moving into this swish dorm building called The Radian, adjacent to the college's campus in West Philadelphia.
Michael's White House proposal
Michael popped the question at the White House in January 2020, shortly before her father vacated the executive mansion, bowling over his future spouse with, according to the Daily Mail, a 13-carat emerald-cut diamond engagement ring estimated to be worth up to $1.2 million (£990k). By that time, the couple had moved to Florida and were staying at the heavenly Setai hotel in Miami Beach while they looked for a permanent home in the Sunshine State.
Tiffany and Michael's temporary hotel home
Tiffany's temporary home isn't too shabby at all and it's no wonder her house hunt is taking so long. After all, the five-star hotel, which has a modern Art Deco vibe, is simply breathtaking. Who can blame her if she doesn't want to leave?
Needless to say, the Setai isn't for those on a budget – rooms start at around $500 (£412) per night, while the penthouse suite will set you back upwards of $30,000 (£25k).
Tiffany and Michael are likely to have selected a suite for their stay, with a two-bedroom priced from around $5,800 (£4.8k) in high season. This beauty, for instance, has a sleek open-concept kitchen and living area, plus a capacious balcony, the perfect spot for Tiffany to relax with a cocktail and plan her upcoming nuptials.
Mar-a-Lago wedding
While the couple continues to search for a permanent base, Tiffany and Michael's wedding date is set for November 12. The marriage ceremony will take place at father Donald's Mar-a-Lago estate, with a reported 500 guests invited. The wedding will hopefully bring some much-needed positivity to Trump’s Florida home, following the FBI search .
