Patrick Swayze’s memory will not live on at his beloved ranch, Rancho Bizarro.
RadarOnline.com has learned that despite pleas from his family and fans to turn it into a museum, she sold it to a complete stranger!
RadarOnline.com has learned that Niemi sold the 1948 ranch in Sylmar, California, to philanthropist Aileen Getty. Before that, however, a Swayze family member had contacted her with a desperate last-minute offer to purchase the property, in the hopes of making it a museum. But Niemi ignored the offer!
“Lisa’s sold everything – including the Mercedes that Patrick bought her from his salary for Road House,” his niece Danielle Swayze told RadarOnline.com. Danielle lived on the 4.5 acre property with her father, Don, as he cared for Patrick through the last year of his pancreatic cancer.
Another family insider said, "It’s a slap in the face to Patrick’s fans. And to not even give the Swayze family anything is just cold-hearted!"
Danielle sniffed, “I don’t know how much more money she needs,” after marrying jeweler Albert De Prisco in 2014. De Prisco is a billionaire!
When Patrick died, his family inherited nothing. As RadarOnline.com reported, they are currently entangled in a nasty battle with Niemi over claims his will — which left his entire $40 million to Niemi — was forged!
Getty’s attorney, John Ladner, said she was aware the ranch had belonged to Patrick, but did not know the family had hoped to make it a museum.
When asked if she would consider such a use for the property, he said, “She’s not really looking for new commitments at the moment."
Niemi and Swayze were married for 34 years: from 1975 to his death in 2009.
