The privatization Commission under the Ministry of Commerce will sell government-owned 24 plots of land in six states and regions by open tender, it released in a statement.
The plots are one in Kachin State, three in Sagaing Region, one in Tanintharyi Region, three in Bago, two in Mon state and 14 in Shan state. Buyers must submit a separate proposal for each plot and submit a fixed deposit. The auction is from March 10 to April 8.
You can visit the land, the plot and the building to buy. You have to attach the confession that you have inspected them thoroughly at the time of the submission of the proposal. The design of these plots was released by the Ministry of Planning and Finance.
The privatization commission, led by Vice-President U Myint Swe, was formed in May 2016 and calls for the auction of state-owned buildings and apartments and the confiscated land every year. In 2017, 19 locations and 17 locations in 2018 were sold through the open tender system.
The privatization Commission made an announcement that it will sell a total of 25 properties including land, building, apartment and plots in early 2020.
